WHAT DOES STRAWBERRY GREEN WAYS BARLEY CONTAIN?

Strawberry Barley contains 80% Green Ways barley, which is grown and processed under the highest GW standards.

20% of the content is strawberry flavour, with stevia and xylitol, which create a great taste. The strawberry flavour is made from strawberries that are grown organically on a family farm in Maryland, USA. After harvesting, the skin and seeds are removed from the strawberries. These are cold pressed to form “essential¨ strawberry oil. This is because the aroma and taste of strawberries are found mainly in the skin.

The remaining parts of the strawberries are juiced and filtered. The resulting juice is dried to form a fine powder, which together with the strawberry oil creates the strawberry flavour for Green Ways Barley.

Steviol glycosides (stevia) and xylitol (birch sugar) are natural sweeteners that do not burden the digestive tract and are also suitable for people with diabetes.
